Since the final show of The L-Word aired we have seen Jennifer in a reoccurring role as Tim Roth’s character”s wife on the Fox Network show “Lie to Me” According to The Fox network, Jennifer will now be staring in a mid season replacement show called “The Chicago Code” (it was initially called "Ride-Along”)

She and her co-star Jason Clarke (from "Brotherhood") play a pair of Chicago cops (she's the new superintendent, he's a detective) trying to clean up a corrupt police department and city.

The show is due to be on here in the US in January 2011 on the Fox network following “House”.

I understand there were previews shown during the first game of the World Series….don’t know. Did anyone see them?

I bet her character will not be much softer. She looks like she will be a real bad ass. I will give it a try but I am not much of a bad ass girl watcher....well except angelina jolie. I like the dainty girls.

I did and I was not as impressed as I thought I'd be. JB's was fine...story was interesting but her costar...Jason Clarke who plays Jarek Wysoki was totally wrong to me. He overacted and often had trouble hiding his Australian accent...and I found his constant scowl very unattractive to the point that I didn't care what he did . He played the same old "Super Macho...don't have to follow the rules..." cop character that is in most police shows. Yawn. I did like the young partner played by Matt Lauria...he was cute and smart. Plus...there is no such thing as the "Irish Mob"...total racial slur.... Wink ROFL I began to like it at the end so I will give it another chance.
