What do you cook if you make an important guest?

Re: Important guest
What I would cook for an important person ..I really don't know ...
may be what I usually cook when I want to make the right impression.
Starters... many, "seafood" spaghetti, squids stuffed with eggs , parmesan and crumbs... fruit salad with vanilla ice cream...Cold white wine of course.... the dessert ?
That's usually ...uhmmm... no ..

Yum....I wish I was important enough for that meal minnie
It all depends on the guest and what time of year this VIP came to my little house.
If it was a good friend...and in summer...I think grilled chicken and steak or Salmon and crab legs also grilled and prepared outside. Grilled corn on the cob, a simple mixed green salad and some nice California Sour Dough bread warmed with butter....My "Death by Chocolate" Cake....and my own home made Vanilla ice cream for dessert.
In the winter time....I think I would make a nice baked chicken or let my resident Chef make a baked pasta. Some roasted vegetables (I like root veggies...potatoes, carrots, onions...) Again...bread and butter of some kind...and for dessert.. maybe a apple or Blackberry pie...
OK...again...now I am hungry...

WOW!! I would to be your both guest Minnie and MO!!!
If an important guest comes in my house I would cook only fish and shellfish, and as dessert a creamy sugary pudding with chocolate 100%
Now I'm hungry and I can see that dessert...
Damn pc!!! I just can see "smiles 1", because I'm at work!!!!!
